Does anyone take the stock turbo and just upgrade the internals?

I'm just curious on this... I think I saw someone say it somewhere, but i'm not sure. If some do and it's reliable, what sort of power do they make and is it really worth it or better to just buy a red or something else better than stock?

FP offers an upgrade to Red from your stock turbo and probably even to a Blackie in the future.

might as well save up and get a proper turbo and not the stock frame ones which will eventually stress the engine as well as the turbo leading to a potential disaster in the future...

I wonder how many guys regret the Red turbo due to lag?

I am torn between green and red....want 400whp and no more really, but don't want cams/e85/meth.

I think red is my only option

Stop being a sally and man up! Just get the red

Honestly, the red and green will feel the same on the street, i don't care what people say. Hollywood said the exact same thing I believe. They are both on/off switches. The red wasn't bad at all on the street, just do it. Transient response was still great.

you think all you want is 400awhp, after 6 months all you will want is 500awhp.... then 600 ect ect ect. Then one day you will turn around and there will be slicks on all 4 corners, parachute on the back, and no interior.

or at least this is how i am

I thought you were supposed to drive around on the street with no interior. I've been doing it wrong this whole time!
