Need some advice, buying a short block...

Hey guys, i am helping a buddy of mine build his evo x and need some advice from people who have dealt with some companies.

Here is the scenario:
I am am debating between going with Buschar racing short block stage 3 for $4,400-time line is about 3-4weeks

or

I can go with TTP engineering for $4,000-time line is 2-4 days.

It does seem obvious to some people that the better choice might be TTP but the reason I am asking is because I have heard a lot of negativity around them and since I am making a big investment I want to be sure.

please chime in...

TTP does well around with the local dsm's and evo's. But wow i wonder why they got banned from "the other forum".

But, OP, i would do the first option. You get what you pay for and the longer wait is just because the work they are doing for you is TOP NOTCH.

Buschur was banned here at one point too, lol.

Honestly though, Buschur over TTP, but do you have a local shop that can build, they will be able to do it just as good if so and cheaper.

I know of a lot of member with TTP engines and have all been happy with their racing engines. Evo2wish4, Phenix_Fyah, kanezx3, JK'sEvo8, surfer483, ultim8mind etc. If mine ever dies (knock on wood) with about 180k on the clock so far, I'll be buying one from them.

Good luck!
