Does anyone have this intake?? I'm wondering if the cast alluminum section of the intake where the mass air flow sensor mounts is 3"?

i remember reading somewhere in a test that the apexi filter is actually one of the best made in terms of flow and cleaning capabilities.

 

Yea I had one on my 91 Turbo MR2 and it was a really nice unit and yes there were tests that it is the best flowing/filtering unit on the market.

My buddy has one and and enjoys it. I would have gotten one but I came across the AMS CAI for and unbeatable and unpassable price

Check out the thread under the Ralliart section, there is a guy that just did the install and talks about it. I am almost positive its a 3in, he used an adapter to keep stock MAF.

Wouldnt change a thing but If I was super rich which im not by any means I would build another evo x and get the apexi intake just to be different. Im from Ft Hood texas which is 50 min outside Austin Texas and I went with AMS to be different and stand out, others have cobb and apexi. btw IM THE ONLY ONE WITH A TOMEI TP AND CB SYSTEM here at Hood. I love to be different
