Possible to blow the off of the fuel pump?
Ok, as some of you may know, i've had some idling issues for about a month or so... changed plugs, checked for leaks, double zip tied the line to the manifold and every other vac line, pretty much everything that can be checked, was and has either been fixed, or there was nothing wrong with it to begin with... so I got to wondering from the other guys post... is it possible to blow the line off of the fuel pump? I've never had the fuel pump out and never even seen it, so I have no idea how it's put on, but could this be a reason for a bit of a rough idle? It's not extremely rough, but it is somewhat. Any ideas?
Are you asking if the fuel line can pop off of the fuel pump??? How would you get fuel if it did?
Sometimes it helps to think before you act.
What's the background on the car? Mods? Tuned?

TBE, UICP, 3 PORT, CAI, did have a Perrin BOV, now Synapse (if they ever get it right and get it back to me) but those mods, was tuned by Mellon, worked fine for a few weeks and then it started having this idle problem.
I switched from Mellon to 4ws... who told me it could be a leak somewhere, or it could also just be that when you add more mods the car isn't always perfectly smooth... oh yeah I have an ETS 4" IC too.
let me add that it doesn't affect the way the car drives in any way, it's just sort of annoying... I guess I always expect it to idle exactly like it did from the factory.

do you have an AFR gauge? cause sometimes my car gets idle problems when the car goes too rich then the car compensates for it and leans it out, but gets too lean and richens it and becomes too rich therefore i get a loopy idle. But for me, the problem usually goes away with a blip of the throttle.
