How often do you tighten your T-clamps?

I'm just wondering... I bought a bunch of them for all high pressure areas, drove the car a few hundred miles and then retightened them, by that time they had gotten a bit loose, not super loose, but I could put a few turns on them... I heard this was common and then to check them about every 5k miles after that... anyone know if this is pretty accurate?

I have never adjusted my clamps. I checked them twice over the past two years and never had a loose clamp... yet

Never touch mine for the most part and I've never blown an IC pipe during my 10+ years driving turbo Mitsus.

Tightened them once and thats it, the only time I had to do it again was if I were to blow a pipe off.

30psi FTW!!!

Reason why if done so to tighten hen up after drive because they will expand the couplers will the. As it cools down they go back to normal best way to do it whennu do recheck them is to do it while it's warm. Another trick is to spray sum brake clean or carb cleaning couplers hen tighten them down they won't ever pop off with high boost!

Tighten the T-bolts until the nut stops turning (if you have SS piping anyway) and you'll never have to tighten again.
