I have had to tighten mine every two weeks for 10k miles now. Very annoying. ETS sent me a second set for my kit and they still losen up every two weeks.

Try the ones from NAPA. That's what I have. ~26PSI and never an issue in 4 years.

I only have to tighten them when the IC pipes pop off....38 psi makes it tough to hold em tight.

I'm worried i'll break the clamp if I do that.

If your using good SS clamps (Breeze, etc) it won't break. Tighten the nut till it doesn't move anymore if your using SS piping and you'll be set.

Are you using the two piece UICP? I had this problem with my Ralli, thats why when I get my X, I'm going with the one piece Nisei pipes.

I have the UR 2 piece UICP. It's possible I guess, but having the 2 piece lets the pipe flex.

I actually have one of mine that the bolt head is stripped off... I guess a new bolt put on there will be fine right? With the plastic insert?
