Anyone have experience with both of these cat-back systems? If so is one noticeably quieter?

The Magnaflow is one of the quietest aftermarket catbacks you're going to find.

I had a Turbo XS with HFC; it was far from quiet. But this is my perception. I have heard both in person, Magnaflow for sure if you do not like noise.

I sold my Magnaflow and got a Cobb, it's even quieter yet.

Why did you make the switch from your magnaflow? Find a good deal on the cobb or did the magnaflow get too loud for you overtime?

Thanks for the input everyone.

The Magnaflow definitely wasn't too loud, the Cobb is just what I had always wanted and I finally found a perfect condition used one locally at a great price so I went for it

Hey Kracka,
do you have the full turboback from Cobb? Or do you have the stock dp (or some other?)
I am going back and forth on the Perrin and Cobb turboback. Perrin has a nice 15% off coupon right now that is tempting me...but I am not sure about their dp/cat combo pipe. Have you heard anything about it from someone who has one?

MAP o2 downpipe
ETS testpipe
Cobb catback

Both Perrin and Cobb make quality turbobacks, you'd be perfectly fine with either one and they'll make equivalent power. I do like how Perrin made a 1-piece downpipe/cat since less points of connection means less weight and less chance for leaks. Cobb's will be the quieter of the two.
