any advantages to porting stock turbo?

any advantages to porting stock turbo?

not a fan of big laggy turbos. just curious if any advantages, thinking of cams, ets headers, fmic kit, intake, cbe, hks bov, injectors, upgraded fuel pump, and tune

Considering your mods list, why not just upgrade it? FP Green isn't exactly a big laggy turbo.

I swear the only reason you post on this forum is to see if anyone will respond...

There are no disadvantages to porting it other than the cost/benefit ratio may not be the best. With the stock turbine housing I always just do a simple gasket-match and smoothing port job, plus some ceramic coating to help retain the heat if you're feeling saucy. Plenty of vendors offer porting services if you're not comfortable doing it yourself or want something more extensive than the DIYer can do with a Dremel in the garage.
