What to do.. All Stock X.. 3k to spend

Im a little new to this site and having an Evo, thought i would see what the best things to do for the car was as far as performance and prices. I have around 3k to spend on the car, have a pretty good idea on what i would like to buy but i thought i would see what everyone had to say before i went and bought everything.

So let me know what you got and how happy you are with it and what kind of power you got from it and or weight loss??

Lemme know!!!

- John

Also if anyone is selling any performance parts PM me, Ill prolly be interested

this plus maybe a 3port. If you have anything left over get eibach prokit, rear sway and a alignment.

Test pipe, Cat-back, Intake (or turbo inlet with a filter mod, which would be cheaper), FMIC with pipings, 3-port, TUNE..maybe a BOV if you have extra cash afterwards..You should be happy with this and be around 340 or so whp on a good tune.

Turboback exhaust: I'm looking at Cobb or Perrin ~$1500
UCIP: ~$200-300 all about the same, performance-wise
Intake: ~$250-500
Custom Tune:~500-700 depending on if you get an AP or do Ecuflash.

That gets you right about 3,000 and would be a sweet setup.

TBE with o2 housing - intake - solenoid vale 3 port- clutch - wastgate -tune
that is good for 3K and the most reliable power.
do not touch the handling. Only you can upgrade the tires, which already would shoot you way over the $3K budget.

Catback - $1,195

High Flow Cat - $295

AMS O2/Downpipe - $469

Cobb AccessPORT - $595
http://www.cobbtuning.com/products/?id=3942

Springs = $299
http://racecompengineering.com/osc/p...roducts_id=145

Total = $2,853 (Tax and S&H not inlcuded)

Save the money on the intake or if you have to, get a higher flowing dropin that's compatible with the AP.
