What's the loudest/most aggressive tbe for evo x

I'm looking for the loudest/most aggressive sounding tbe for my 08 evo x. Youtube clips in the sticky aren't so helpful and I wanna be able to pass emissions. Thanks

That's loud for sure , I had the Nvidia catless and it was loud also poping and throwing fireballs.

Any exhaust that is catless has the ability to throw flames. If your tune is a little rich, the car backfires or you potentially bounce off the rev limiter there is a good chance a flame will be thrown.

To the OP: Look for an exhaust that is mostly straight with no tapers at the flanges. Small mufflers, the lack of resonators and material in which the exhaust is made out specifically titanium of all have an impact on the sound.

I think our v2 extreme and VTA downpipe and test pipe will take the cake on this one.

Thanks!

Michael

I have the Tomei titanium with a test pipe. It is pretty loud. I can't imagine anything being louder, it would be unbearable. It was rather pricy, however the fit and finish is excellent!

order a test pipe off ebay for a hundred dollars, go to your local muffler shop and have him make you a straight pipe with hangers total cost 200 bucks= loud as hell it got me pulled over at 4k in 5th. NVM this will not pass smog but you have 2008 not like you need to smog anytime soon.

+1. I would get either a tomei catback and high flow cat and downpipe, or a ets extreme catback with high flow cat and downpipe. Don't get a testpipe if you have to pass emissions. Some states have a "sniffer" to smell the exhaust. Just depends whether you want a dual exhaust set up or a single exhaust. The tomei is also titanium which is super light.

Ok skyline! I like the idea but I definitely don't want that kind of attention lol. To clarify a bit on my OP I'm looking for the most hp gains a possible (tbe). But I need it to stay street legal. I'm not to concerned with the price.I've been looking for an exhaust for almost two months. I just don't want something I'll regret.

Well I would meet up with some local evos and hear their exhaust. Most of the LOUDEST setups have already been mentioned in this thread. Any tbe's are going to be pretty loud. And look for a setup with a HFC included for emission reasons. I would just go with a high quality exhaust. You say most HP, so I would go with a single exit. Look at ETS, AMS, Tomei, or other top notch exhaust. The less bends = less restrictions = MOAR POWER. Tomei is titanium tho so that also sheds more weight which helps too. Titanium is more cash tho.

This is our 3" Dual Exit Catback (on a Ralliart not an Evo X) on a customer's car in Australia.:

Fairly aggressive sound if you ask me
