Not sure if this is the right forum for this thread, but had a little issue with my ASC earlier today. Was driving about 35 on a road when the ASC activated ( cut power) so i thought i just went over a reallly uneven piece of ground, so i kept driving and every time i pressed the gas, it kept cutting power and activating ASC. I would turn ASC off and have no issue. So i stopped and restarted my car, and since then have been unable to recreate it. Has anyone had this happen? Should I be at all worried? Just to test it I did some hard accelerating and braking as well as turns to try to make a tire slip to recreate it, but nothing so far.

P.S I just installed Cobb AP yesterday, could that have caused some brief conflict with the ECU?

Ya man I had the same issue! Fixed it by patching/flashing the asc. Talk to your tuner about the patch. It's a 5 min process. One day the car felt like dookie! And noticed asc light was on. I couldn't even turn off the damn thing. Informed my tuner and patch fixed the problem with increased power!

 

Oh by the way I think he got the patch from tefra if I remember correctly.

 

Haha well I don't really have a tuner. It hasn't seemed to happen since tha once, should I expect it to happen often?
