Password JDM

Hey guys,

I wanted to write to tell people that if you're thinking about getting the Password:JDM Dry Carbon Fiber Cooling Plate 08+ and the PowerChamber Intake Box 08+ for the Mitsubishi EVO X don't. At first, I loved how the pictures looked and how the CF looks in the engine bay. I also like the idea of the intake box and thought that it would be a good upgrade from stock.
I received the parts and was shocked that the shroud and intake had pit marks all over it. When I held it up to the light, you can see thin spots in the CF and also the intake box. The air filter that comes with the intake box looks fine on the outside, but looking through the filter into a light, it looks like there is a thin spot of the material...
I've sent an email to the people with no reply and honestly if I didn't spend so much money, I would have thrown it away. Although its functional, if I had to do this again, I would not get it again. Save your money, get another product because for the amount of money I spent on these pieces I got something that looked like from the reject pile

Looks like if I had done a search on the forum before I spent the money I would have found other people that had the same issues.
I will post pictures tomorrow when its day and you guys can see for yourself what I'm talking about.

Wow, that's just sad. I mean their stuff is not exactly cheap either. I am putting on my flame suit for this, but I have a Kansai CF airbox for the HKS RS intake, the quality is simply amazing. It's funny how a company that produces their product in China/Taiwan names themselves Password "JDM".... what a joke.

As promised, here are the pictures that I took this morning of the shroud/intake box. You can see the thin spots by the light just going through, also the pot marks all over the CF.

All I can say is that I'm really disappointed in the quality, and would think they would do some sort of QC before they ship their product out. I can't speak for the other products offered, but as for the 2 CF that I received from them, I would stay away from them...

HOLY CRAP, that's just horrid. I saw another post on other forums about the lack of quality of their stuff. I guess the first few people who bought their stuff got the good stuff with the promise of installed pics. I hope everything works out for you.

This is not the first complaint I've heard about them. I almost bought these same parts from them but I saw another thread EXACTLY like this and P-JDM was very little help about the situation. I heard that you basically have to go and pick out the parts in person.

That is just sad. If they care about their customers, they would resolve this asap and respond to this post to save face.
