Best Performing Quiet Exhaust

Ok, so this is what I am looking for. I like a good sounding exhaust, i love when I get into the car I can hear it and feel it. However, I would really like to be able drive on the highway and hear myself think. I am coming from a 06 MR that had the 6-speed gear box, so I am kind of worried about the drone coming from exhaust in my new X GSR riding in 5th gear.

I am sure this has been written about and asked, searching is such a pain in the *** in these forums sometimes. So i appreciate any info on this. I know there are going to be differing opinions on this which is what I am looking for. So anyone who thinks they have the best performing, non droning exhaust that sounds good, go ahead and lay it out for me.

Also, pics and videos will be a great idea too. lol Need to see it and hear it.

deep tone that is well under 93db for discreet sports driving. This system requires no removeable silencer for under 93db operation at all rpms.

Sorry I have a X GSR, probably should have been more specific. I will edit that.

I just purchased the ets quiet exhaust. Don't have it yet but I choose this exhaust for the same concerns you have.

Cobb. Straight through 3" > dual 2.5" design, but still a fairly large muffler.

ETS V2 Quiet and Buschur Crossflow are also worth looking into.

Do you want a dual exhaust or a single tip exhaust?

If you want a dual exhaust I would look into a Cobb. I haven't heard an ETS quiet but you can't go wrong with their products.

If you want a single tip I would look into an Ark performance exhaust. I got their catback and tp for 800 bucks. It is REALLY quiet. Almost too quiet LOL. At idle it is insane quiet but at WOT it sounds nice. Full 3" and build is top notch.

Check out cobb or perrin. Both exhaust systems are quiet while cruising, but when you get on the pedal you can hear her roar.

Yes, but only if you cut off the 2.5" neck-down and have it replaced with a full 3" flange. I know MAP offers this as an option, otherwise you could find a local muffler shop to do it for you.

Check out the Fujitsubo Legalis R system.

One of the guys here is running it on his EVO X and it works great and is nice and quiet (but can still be heard). However driving next to him in his X with my X (with a Turbo XS catback), he states that his gets completely drowned out. Meaning that its nice and quiet. And with the windows up, music going you cant even hear the Fujitsubo which makes it nice and ideal for daily driving.
