hey guys i installed my tomei exhaust and it was a perfect fitment but i noticed that sometimes it rattles when i rev it to about 4k-5k rpms anybody know what it could be and how i could fix it?? thanks

 

mine rattles too, it hits the rear diff.
Only rattles when the car is ideling so not a big issue for me.

 

i thought it just rattled cuz the exhaust was so light
mine does it too, not a big deal to me

 

check the springs aren't rattling on the pipes. you may need to turn the clips the other way around.

 

i actually just took the springs off and everythings been good the clamps are really tight so i see no problem and the car sounds beautiful now

 

did you put your clips the other way around? it rattled way more with the spring closer to the pipe, i tried both ways, still rattles tho, just glad i haven't lost my springs yet, but they are so tight on there i don't see how it would easily fly off hitting a bump or something

 

I took all 4 springs out plus that OEM heat shield under the rear bumper. sound great, no rattle at all. my also have tomei's straight pipe. it sounds beautiful.

 

im interested in getting one... how much was it?

 

evasivemotorsports got it the cheapest for $1160 but im sure there sold out give them a call if not them i seen them go for about 1300

 

Go buy some honda cr250 springs it fixes the issue

 

Question: i drive a Evo 9 GSR fully stock , interested in this exhaust system ; what other hardware would i need to replace on my stock vehicle to accomodate this exhaust system . Any help is appreciated.



Do i need to change turbo outlet pipe any downpipes etc....???
