Recommended plugs for the x?

Ok looking for some factual opinions lol if that makes sense. I'm not really looking for what someone heard but more or less what you have and if it works for the x. Recommendations for decent spark plugs are pretty important for these cars. So any valuable input would be much appreciated.

thanks!

Here is the deal on plugs..... NGK makes them...but only place to find them are either online or at dealer. most auto parts places tell you they carry them, if you have ever seen evo plugs you know what the thread length is. the ones ngk has on their site is the same ones auto zone, advance and such carry, but are too short. i think i remember napa carrying them, but those that actually have them are few and far between. i got in an argument one time with auto zone, the guy swore he was right and had been tuning for years. i told him they were too short, i went home let the car cool down, pulled one and took it to him.... laid them side by side and asked him again how long and what he has been tuning.... didn't get an answer, be blew me off and manager came and apologized. usually online is cheaper, but not by much. but they will always be OEM.... HKS are garbage.

Another vote for OEM, I have seen no reason to use anything else.

Please validate why HKS are garbage?

I know several tuners on here and the other site that use them regularly.

I've seen plenty of X's that misfire on the HKS plugs, then they swap in OEM's and it works great.

I wouldn't say they are garbage, but they are worse than stock for our cars at a higher price.

I know of sereral EVO's both from COBB and JoTECH in dallas area that have tried to sneak in HKS plug and they cause a lot of issues. Cobb Plano reccomends only OEM plugs for my car.

Very interesting, the HKS plugs were recommended to me by a very trusted remote tuner to help with high rpm knock (they're colder).

I'm been having some p0300 during idle and cruise but never in WOT (That I can tell)

Maybe I should put my OEM plugs back in....
