FIC 2150cc question

I c maxed out my 1300cc injectors on e85. I am running a single dw pump and I am wondering would just changing the injectors solve my fuel issue? The pump is hard wired to the battery so it sees 14volts all the time. I am really trying to avoid the double pumper set up, but I want to make a little more power. I need more fuel to crank up the boost, currently set at 24psi.

2150 will be way to big on a 2.0

1680 is a good choice... BUT you will still need more pump... so I would be tempted to look into the more pump option first...

I ran into the same issue, maxing out a bosch 040 on pump, not even e85 w/ 1300cc injectors.

You didn't actually max your injectors, you maxed your pump. You need double pump, or an 044 inline, and suddenly you'll have more headroom on your 1300s.

Solve the fuel system first. My method is doing a brand new fuel system with a cell and all AN lines new rail etc. But you can probably get away with just adding an inline or a dbl pump and you'll have more headroom.

Beyond that, if you still want more (the black won't push all that much more, 600whp seems to be all it'll give) than 1680s is as big as you'll ever need. Though I'd be cautious with them, some ppl are having fueling issues w/ 1680s and we don't yet know the cause - it could be the injectors.

I agree you maxed your pump not the injectors. My DW1300's let me run 38psi on the black with my double pumper with plenty of fuel left.

Yeah seems to be my problem I am running out of fuel. The BR double pumper is on back order. I am looking at this full blown kit but can't find any reviews. I need something quick fast and easy to install. Not to fond of the inline setup.

Oh, also, I wouldn't go with the full blown setup, it has problems from what I've seen.

aeromotive and dw pumps are the same pump. If you don't want to do a DP setup, or can't wait for backorder, you can either
1) add an inline 044
2) get a surge tank setup from MDR and run an 044
3) FUEL CELL!!! with 044s

Option 3 is only for the crazies.

I'm installing my fuel cell right now :-)

I'm going to be giving the 2150's a try, after having issues with the 1680's. I also have the full blown hanger, but haven't had it for long and haven't experienced any issues with it. Murlo, you said you saw it has issues? Could you please elaborate on that a bit?

Lomker had the full blown hangar and he could never get it to work but who knows if it was the hangar or something else.
