Ahh, thanks for the response. I know it probably has issues when making hard lefts on the track just like the stocker, but I'm hoping I'll be okay on moderate turns and hopefully hard turns if I can keep the fuel level high. Wish I could ask him....RIP mlomker :-(

Just a quick update, the pump was the issue. Fuel had to be pulled back big time from the old fuel map. The bov is limiting the amount of boost I can run. Looking to get a tial qr. I love the way the car feels

What issues were you having?

People running the FIC 1680's with gasoline were having their AFR's fluctuate big time once the fuel temperature got hot......my AFR's would drift sometimes 3 points lean as I drove it around and the car got up to temp. It also caused idle issues. The theory is that the shape and way the injector is designed somehow causes the fuel to boil or something. This is only a problem on the 1680's and gasoline as far as I know, people running e85 only on the 1680's seem to be doing fine. Apparently no one is having issues with the 2150's for gasoline or for e85, so I'm gonna begin tuning mine next week as soon as my turbo gets in.

yea the fic and ID 1600/1680 size injectors are the same. On pump, they drift and cause issues. ID has already discontinued the 1600, and are offering free upgrades to the id2000 or 1000 size for anyone who bought them. FIC is doing the same, though only on a case-by-case basis.

In short, don't buy them, as both are discontinued or about to be. Either run DW1300s, or ID/FIC 2000

FIC are still investigating the issue...
