gtx3071r - dyno?

Ive been sitting on a stock turbo protune for a few years waiting for a streetable turbo that made sense power to response wise. I considered a red too much lag and a green not enough power...and i would actually lean toward the bbx lite out of them all. At the end of the day i couldnt justifiy it. The stock turbo is actually pretty good and it wasnt worth the lose in response for the power it made nor the money for an ic injectors labor and a retune. I have no intentions of building the motor and was looking for some more power with some good spool charateristics and good transient. Anyways, if the gtx3071 can spool as fast as a gt3071 and put down an additional 30-40whp on top....i may have found the turbo i have been waiting for. I know its relatively new, but does anyone have one yet? Dyno graph?

Is the Evo X GTX3071 out? The Garretts come with either a 0.73 or 0.94 A/R turbine housing. If I had to guess, a GTX3071 in a 0.73 A/R turbine housing will make the power of the GT3076 but spool about 500rpm sooner as the GT3076 usually comes with the bigger 0.94 A/R turbine housing.

Which A/R turbine housing did you get? It'll do 500whp on E85.

I have the .73a/r turbine housing which will work awesome for a street/track car. Yes e85 will be good for 500whp. The car will settle on e85 after all my tests. For now It will be feed 110+

I actually just got the turbo about three or four weeks ago. I have other parts like the manifold and downpipe and gauges to install which I had for awhile. Tomorrow I'll finally get my APR wind splitter on. I had my Gramlights (summer wheels) for almost three years and had them on the car for a total of 4 months because I'm always gone. Right now I'm also paying for a wedding so a lot of my stuff is getting put on the back burner again.....
