i have t1r intercooler pipes which are aluminum, and im looking at getting the ams ic pipes instead but is the power gain going to be enough for me to go from aluminum to stainless

Aren't the AMS pipes also aluminum? I actually prefer aluminum though, I won't even consider putting steel on my car. I'd keep the T1R pipes, those are pretty nicely designed with the turbo outlet elbow.

 

It says right on the product page of AMS's web site the pipes are "aluminum mandrel bent piping"
