have any of you guys used the ams 900 turbo setup. I am in the process of rebuilding my motor and would like to put down about 600-650 whp and be able to run pump gas as well. I was told that the AMS 900x was a great setup to run but I want to make sure that the turbo is not being pushed to its limits, never know maybe I want to put some bigger numbers down in the future for fun. Anyways any help would be appreciated, advice on other kits that are great for my want. Hopefully I can get a setup that will not be real laggy, then again thats why i am asking questions.

 

Do you want 650whp on pump gas (91 to 93) ? If you want 650whp on pump gas it is pretty much goning to be laggy unless you increase the displacement. I am going to be using the same turbo AMS uses in the 900x in my build (PTE Billet 6265 V-band), but I am also going 2.2L. Theere is a thread about some builds with this turbo that AMS did. This should help you see the turbo's potential.
