E-Spec "E-Stage 1" To be released!!

I guess I can't keep it "a secret" much longer.

A t3 based direct bolt-on turbo kit for Evo X.

Through a bit of research, we're taking a different approach towards satisfying "the mod bug" for Evo X owners. This kit will include;;;

-Your choice of precision turbo. (5857 for quickest spool, 6262CEA, or 6266CEA)
-Tial 38mm wg
-UICP
-Downpipe
-Dumptube
-Oil Lines
-Intake

Now that we are done with the initial build, this car will hit the dyno early next week and we'll be happy to share our findings/results.

Thanks for viewing.

Thanks guys! As soon as the final touches are complete this project will hit the dyno.

We wanted the test vehicle to be as close to a "real world" evo as possible. The first round of testing will be on a BONE STOCK motor, stock intercooler, stock maf housing, and even stock bov.

The ONLY mods this beta car will have is the turbo kit, Id1000s, fuel pump, test pipe and cat-back. We wanted other Evo owners to be able to relate to the results.

Can you post more pics of how the turbo bolt up to the manifold? I assume it would also bolt up to a stock replacement like full-race prostock as well? I couldn't tell if there was an adapter plate or something in there. Also, any way the compressor side could be clocked differently to avoid that 180 to the UICP?

I will be following up with a more detailed write-up in a few days. this kit will bolt directly to any manifold that is configured like stock. With the larger s-housing we needed to "clock" the turbo in this fashion to create the clearance needed to make this work. The '180 bend' is needed to clear the stock and other tubular manifolds. Space was our #1 battle. We had 3 different revisions before this one, but this looks to be the winner.

With the increased heat/air velocity of the factory manifold configuration, we'd like to see one of the most responsive "big turbo" results.

Sounds good to me. I'm very interested in this.

Any idea on pricing? Also, would you be able to have the option of just couplers for the UICP and intake so that we could perhaps use our existing ones? I know AGP is doing this w/ their manifold / zeta turbo thing they're making.
