question about short shifter and bushings

does anyone know if the AMS base bushing set will fit on the torque solutions short shifter? i want a good short shifter but i hear you have to add the bushings in order to get rid of the grinding notchy feel that all of us seem to be experiencing, atleast on these 2011 models. im sick of it!
also does anyone kno about the works short shifter and bushings set? will the ams bushings fit on the works shifter?

The base bushings don't go on or in the short shifter. The base bushings replace the rubber bushings at the base of the shifter assembly. You can mix and match. I have AMS base bushings, AMS underhood bushings, and a Works Short shifter.

Underhood bushings and transmission arm bushing made the biggest difference in my 2011. Also, trans started to become smoother shifting after wearing in after 8k miles or so.

I have a 2011 and got the works short shifter and bushings set which included the base bushings and under the hood bushings. In order to get the most out of this mod, it's best to get all of these and then do the Redline Transmission Fluid Cocktail (2 qts of MTL and 1 qt of Mt-90). For a daily driver, this is the most comfortable as well as say goodbye to notchiness... IMO if you leave out one of the above, you just won't get the full effect. My shifter now glides into each gear like butter.
