Evo MR sounds like a diesel?
I recently got 2008 Evo MR, still under warranty, fully stock. The engine sounds almost like a diesel, is that normal?

are you sure its stock it might sounds like cams to me maby get it tuned or take it back to the dealer

alot of low compression 4 bangers have like an almost "diesel" sound

Post a video. The evo has many sounds and is kinda hard to diagnose without actually hearing it.
