HELP! Car sounds like a diesel!

So yesterday my VIII had a vacuum leak due to a loose clamp on the IX diverter valve. I picked my daughter up from school and the idle was bad, like it wanted to stall out. While driving it was running fine, AFR was dead on, oil pressure was perfect, just the idle was off.
This morning I start it up and the idle issue is still there, but now its ticking REAL loud! Its almost like the car has no oil, but theres full pressure and the dipstick reads perfect on the full line.
I fixed the vacuum leak, reset the ECU and its still running like ****. It wants to stall, the AFR's go lean (15.2-15.5) to super rich (11.1- 10.8) and the damn thing sounds like a diesel truck in how it is ticking and the idle.
Anyone have this issue before because of a vacuum leak? Any other thoughts or suggestions?
BTW, my mods are TBE/MBC/IX BOV/CAMS/Dynoflash, if that means anything.

maybe a rod or other internal prob also. how many miles? have you done a t-belt? maybe it slipped. is smoke coming out of the tail? what color? it runs good at speed and crap on idle? man, that sucks. good thing you have a built motor coming.

If it wasnt doing any of these things before and then just started after the vacuum leak and you're certain the vacuum leak has been corrected, then Im thinkin it has to be a ECU related thing... probably timing, not anything internal.

Noisy

I think it sounds like an exhaust leak. I do not think timing is an issue. You should check your exhaust. Good luck,

Sigfrid
