Looks like a cheap way to lower the compression ratio and run more boost, good idea!

did you see jb's bent rod thread? now several examples of bent factory rods. would be interesting to see the dyno sheet, afr, and ign timing.

That is the rod out of my car. GST hooked up the rebuild. Crappy email flash tune = overboost. Mike is tuning the car now and said he had to take 9* of timing out for just the base dyno.
