evo x idle prob

evo x idle prob

im looking in to geting a evo x 20008 and its got full bolt on's n a 30r but its got this idle problume it just bonces around from like 1000 to 800 or somthin any ideas

Sounds like it should be a tuning issue, unless it's something like an IAC valve or something. I wouldn't buy an evo that doesn't have a good tune on it to know the car is actually capable of running right. I wouldn't touch it.

i found on youtube that alot people said its the small vac line by the dipstick , i was thinkgof taking the car to cbrd to see if they would look over it or w.e

couldnt tell you ,the guy who had it died and his wife traded it with 3 other cars ,it sounds like it has a cam in it its sounds loopy but idk

I would never ever buy a modded car without knowing exactly what parts are on it, who installed them, who tuned it, etc. IMO, you're just asking for trouble getting into something like that without knowing the details.
