is it ok if i don't install one on my X? cause what i do now is i sit and wait for 2-5mins depending on how long and hard i drove before i turn the engine off. i just want a turbo timer that would automatically detect how long the engine should be running before turning off.

PS: and i do long drives a lot. like from cali to vegas or arizona.

Don't think it's 100% necessary from what I've read around here.

I usually drive the last few minutes of my ride staying out of boost, and/or park and idle for about 30 seconds to a minute.

However, if I was to buy a timer, I would definitely get the ARK Design STB just cuz it's a great idea..

I have a Greddy in my CRX and its good for what it does. It's kind of a pain because i have an alarm so it has to run its course before i can arm it. Maybe I can wire it differnetly but it does what its supposed to so its good.

I bought my X used and it came with an HKS turbo timer and I love it. Very simple and havent had any problems with it.

I've heard a lot of mixed responses on whether to get a turbo timer or not. Some people say you need one, and a lot say you dont. Mine came with one so I'm not complaining.

Love the ARK STB one though... its so clean

I vote for ARK design, too. Simple and integrated into the dash. I wish I can find an empty spot to put it in like the X does!

So how do you set how long you want your car to run when the turbo timer kicks in since there isn't a display?
