Alright i know im early but i like to know before hand. Spring/Summer time plan on doing the following, FP Green, 850cc, fuel pump, TBE (idk if im going with test pipe or high flow cat yet). I was planing on installing all that at once. My question is could i drive it out of the shop with all that with out a tune, i will get a tune but it prob wouldnt be till a day or so later and i think the nestest tune shop is like 2 hrs away highway driving (i live in cleveland and i think the closest is columbus). Would i have to get a custom tune for the time being from like AMS or is it cool to drive in that length with out a pre-tune?

 

Where are you planning on getting it installed?

 

A buddy of mine owns a shop and i would be helping with the install. So in other words im using him for the lift and tools i dont have at home haha.

 

Dont install the injectors and you will be fine , just dont give it too much throttle . Just pay the $30 to get the injectors installed there .

 

I was typeing this exact same thing before I realized you had said it hahaha. Yeah good info as long as your not beating on the car you should be fine with the current tune and injectors.

 

Yeah drive out of boost until you get your tune. Then install injectors pre tune
