Exhaust Recommendations - DP & Test Pipe

Exhaust Recommendations - DP & Test Pipe

I currently have a Buscher Racing Bullet cat back exhaust, want to run a Cobb stage 2 map, so am assuming i need a downpipe and a test pipe correct?

Don't want the car super loud,
what would you guys recommend I get that will match up nicely with my existing Buscher exhaust.

If you don't want it loud, maybe consider a highflow cat instead of a test pipe. I think any downpipe and test pipe with that bullet catback will be loud.

I have a AMS Widemouth DP it shouldnt affect the noise to much but you will see a slight power gain
also if you dont want your exhaust much louder go with resonated testpipe from ETS
the one i got from AMS had clearance issues.

thanks guys, and clearance is a consideration as the car is lowered on Eibach pro kit.

I would recommend a recirculated downpipe.

and a test pipe.

The resonator will change the tone slightly, but nothing drastically. We add a bend into our test pipe to clear the drive shaft. This eliminates any chance of vibrating on the drive shaft. Each of our test pipes also have a J-bung o2 bung which pulls the sensors out of stream and prevents check engine lights.

The Cobb Stage 2 OTS map is designed for a shorty downpipe and a HFC.

Exhaust suggesrlton.

I know and read the exhaust sticky. What do you like! Wanna go to something really quiet but semi aggressive was looking at mxp, or spectrum elite. Something more aggressive and still kinda low toned. Gonna run test pipe no cats! Really like the mxp! Performance is what I'm aiming for but quality dual exit is nice. Currently have hks legamax

I'm running Invidia TBE and I like that they have a long DP so it's DP/TP is all one piece. It's not too loud and keeps the dual tips

I heard on you tube someone running a legamax with a test pipe and down pipe! It sounds really good. Before I go the route of a new cbe I will try that combination!

Definitely go with the recirculated DP lol I have open dump and if it wasn't for that I'd have a pretty low-tone car. But going for test pipe soon! Maybe someone can answer my question in this thread, not trying to jack it lol, but if I get a test pipe should I recirculate or leave the open dump? Is there a difference? Thanks!
