Staged Upgrades / Who should I go with?

This is my third evo. I had an 8 and followed the Buschur stages with good results. My nine I went a similar route but with mismatched parts. I was less happy with the results of the 9.

So now I just bought a 2011 X. I would like to stick with the same tuner this time. Who should I go with?

Buschur gave me results in the past.

AMS quality is top notch. I loved the parts that I purchased from them in the past.

Cobb is also a company I am considering. The Access Port seems like a great tool.

Any opinions?

You're also forgetting ETS for parts

No complaints here, they've impressed me with my car.

Do you provide tuning support? Such as Access Port maps that match your parts.

I was under the impression that Buscher and AMS manufactured their stuff in-house as well?

AMS fabricates the original in house then sends them out for casting. Buschur I'm not sure on.

I've had great results with ETS parts on my VIII and plan on going that way with the X I just picked up. I even met Michael once, seemed like a stand up guy.

Buschur, AMS, ETS, check out MAP as well, all make great products but you'll find they don't all carry the best of everything so shop around and pick out what you like best, make smart decisions as you go and you'll be happy

Ready to buy

I have been doing a lot of research. It is really hard to choose. There are some design elements that one brand has over the other in almost every case. No one seems to be the best at everything I am looking to buy.

I don't want a super loud exhaust. This is the main reason I am straying away from the AMS packages.

I have a Cobb access port already.

Here is where I am now.

Anodizing Intercooler: No Thanks

ETS Mitsubishi Evo X and Evolution X Intake
The ETS Mitsubishi Evolution X Intake includes a 5.0" velocity stack making it the largest intake on the market. This intake has been proven to gain over 56whp when used with a manual boost controller at 22psi.

Selected options:

Piping Color: Brushed Stainless Steel
Coupler Color: Black
Edit options
$271.95 x = $271.95

I am ready to pull the trigger on this cart if I can get an Access Port Map for the intake.

Any opinions?
Is there something that I overlooked?
I would like to go all Cobb but cant understand why they don't have SF intake maps yet. (2011) It is their part. Also no shield on intake to prevent stumbling.
Please help.
