Intercooler piping
all dimensions the same, all hard pipe kits should perform roughly the same, the same way cat backs would; not many secrets to making a pipe go from one outlet to another. look for a kit with the most gradual bends if you're worried about the minute hp gains or the small difference in spool between each kit.

if you like the look and you havent found anything bad on these forums about them then why not? as long as the price isnt high id say go for it. im not familiar with them unfortunately. just for clarification is this an upper or lower ICP?
if m not mistaken not much is gained from an UICP. all the hp and spool gains are seen in the LICP. if you like the look then by all means but if youre looking for bang for buck you can do better.
With the Evo X, best performance gains are from an upper pipe, Evo VIII and IX get best gains from a lower pipe. It has to do with the way they are set up.
OP, if you are looking for a good set for a great price, try COBB. They use a weld free, mandel bent, single pipe setup, and the list price is $595 for upper and lower.

I don't have Cobb's kit, but the features you mentioned are very important to me, plus aluminum, I don't do steel intercooler pipes. The less welds and couplers there are, the less chance there is for a boost leak plus less internal turbulence for smoother flow.
Low coupler quantity is awesome. So much less to worry about when couplers and clamps need replacement due to wear and tear. I had an STI with a Perrin front mount kit. Absolute nightmare that required over $100 in replacement couplers and t bolt clamps every year.
Another thing to watch for is mounting brackets, these will help prevent couplers from blowing off and to avoid excessive movement which could damage other components. I've been noticing lately some of the cheaper pipes on the market skipping the brackets. Not only is it less time and materials to create, it's less R&D since fitment doesn't need to be as exact.
Yeah, the COBB kit is a no brainer for me.
1. Aluminum construction
2. Powder coated finish
3. Single pipe
4. Mandrel bent
5. T-Bolt clamps
6. Fits with the STOCK air box
7. Mounting brackets
8. 2.5 inch diameter
9. BOV piping from cold side maintains stock location
10. One of the least expensive kits on the market at $595 for both upper and lower.
On a side note, COBB also offers 10% military discount on their products, so $536 and since I am close I should be able to just pick it up on site (no shipping).
I have yet to see a better set of pipes.

Weapon r is crap, I've had numerous of their parts from my Acura/Honda days and every time it was either fit finish or drone sounds. Quality is crap but those nei chrome pipes do look slick
I want something nice but not to expensive. You ever use ETS? And what website do you get your parts off of
