I'm in CT and was looking for a good reputable tuner around the tr-state area. I've always been tuned by Chris (RIP) of EFI with my STi but i've heard nothing but great things about Jamie at Dynotech, E-Spec and Ivey...any suggestions?
Don't waste your time using cats. In CT they don't visual inspect during emissions so as long as your tuner gives it a a pass it will pass obd2 emissions. Chris tuned me this way for my STI. I'm about to begin modding my 12X in Wallingford. We just had a new shop in town do a small opening, grand opening is mid august. They purchased an Mustang AWD dyno too which is great to have local. The shop is Weapons Grade Performance. They are taking care of my STS install along with the bushings, tranny fluid and clutch line.

IMO catless turboback, ebcs, intake should net you 315-330 on a mustang. The upper ic pipe doesn't do much the lower does however. On a stock turbo leave the stock FMIC its not worth it.

You're somewhere with 93 octane, right? 91 hurts a lot without upgrading the turbo.

91 burns hotter and leaves a higher chance of detonation. 93 is the best option when running high boost...the higher the octane rating the higher you can potentially turn the boost without the risk of detonation.

Cali guys running 91 make less hp/tq with the same mods than guys on the east coast running 93.

So if I were to change just one of the ICP, it should be the lower and not the upper?

I'm going to stay with the oem DP, HFC and have the Q300 but not installed, most likely will go with aem cai or ets cai and not sure if I should get GS EBCS or just an MBC?

Reason why I want to go catted is because my wife, does not want the car loud. My STi had no cats with Tomei Equal Headers/Uppipe and Invidia non catted TBE and it was LOUD. She hated it but loved the sound.

It may not be for you or I but for the wife, it will be.

Installed the Q300 today, great sounding exhaust! but I hate how the tips stick out a bit too much.
