I was thinking it's because Evo drivers aren't as stupid as Prius drivers. When your clutch fails an Evo driver knows how to put on the hazards, pull the shifter out of gear and use the brakes to stop on the side of the road.

If you drive a Prius and and your throttle sticks, apparently you aim for the nearest bus stop to slow you down because you know don't how to put it in neutral and use the brakes.

I was stuck in the middle lane of the freeway... everyone was passing me at about 60-70mph, so I was too afraid to walk outside to push my car.

luckily some nice truck drivers parked behind me and two guys helped push my car to the side...

Wow that sucks. My pedal would go to the floor but would come back up if I pulled it with my leg. And it would get sucked to the floor...as in you press it halfway in and it goes the rest by itself.

Timing yes but mostly it goes down or stays down....not fun to drive. Hopefully it didn't mess up the tranny or transfer case.......

My clutch pedal got stuck on the floor today , i was backing out of a parking spot , pushed the clutch to the floor and when i went to release it , the pedal stayed on the floor , so i put it in nuetral, , pressed on it again and it came back up , it happened a few seconds later , now it seems fine, well fine i guess because the twin disc Tilton clutch never feels the same to me, i cannot get used to it . but it does shift really good at full throttle , i hope it doesn`t have to come apart, but heck ,its not supposed to get stuck down , its raining pretty hard today, i will see tomorrow what happens with it .

haha funny but if it ever happens to you and your driving, you won't be laughing.....

so as an update, it got fixed. It was a upgraded part that went bad and was replaced by the maker.

Although, when they reistalled everything they didn't align the clutch right, so there's like 1-2" gap where the clutch is already fully engaged and the pedal still moves up haha good stuff.
