Lan evo missfire system

HI all

I know a lot of you might not have seen Initial D but in the anime the EVO team had a EVO 3 with ralliart miss fire system to keep the turbo spooled through shifts. It also made the car back fire alot and through flames I.E. catless.

It is also used on rally cars this and running strait pipe no BOV/BPV to keep boost in the tract and the turbo spinning when the TR plate is closed.

Well it is here by BEE-R from Japan.

Bee-R Ignition Misfiring System Rev Limiter. This item is designed to prevent over revving by cutting ignition and thus producing an open flame at the exhaust. Please note that the flame will not be produced with vehicles still using the OEM catalytic and those using a silencer at the tip of your aftermarket muffler.

The 3 dial knobs on the head unit will do the following adjustments:
Red Knob (REV 1):
This will set the Rev Limiter
16 adjustment from 0~F. 0=2500rpm with an increase in 500rpm for each additional turn in the knob.

White Knob (REV 2):
The signal for this knob is set while the E-BRAKE is engaged.

Yellow Knob (Gain):
This knob will increase or decrease the impact of the flame/sound from the exhaust. With the setting as zero the item will be turned off and will increase as the knob dial is set.
This is a great unit to stand out at the weekend meets, drag strip, drift competitions or car shows!!

The question is to buy or not buy.
I'm not worried about the back fire my car does that on stock tune with single catback and k&n panel.

What do you guys think would any of you buy it?

sounds like the BEE-R thing is just a 2 step, not any sort of anti lag system which is what the Initial D thing was supposed to be...

Ok in the show they call it misfire system like the add for this item that's why I added that part. Sorry it's not a full antilag system but it will work with one to give you the best advantage in a race.

But even if it is a 2 step system it is still a form of anti lag / misfire setup.

Two-step Anti-lag/launch control:

A method of anti-lag developed along the same technique previously mentioned, but designed only to allow reduction of turbo lag when a car is initially pulling away from a standing start.
These systems can be integrated into the engine management or existing anti-lag system, or can be fitted as a standalone unit.
The basic method of operation is to artificially lower the engine rev limiter to hold the engine at a speed where the turbo can produce usable boost, by altering the ignition.
Because the ignition is alternately cut or retarded, there is similar noise and misfires associated with other anti-lag systems.
Systems for two-step launch designed to be fitted in addition to the existing engine management work by interrupting the crank position sensor signal, so that the engine develops a controlled misfire at a pre-determined RPM.
The basic premise of the launch control system is to build positive boost pressure from a static engine, releasing full or increased power to the wheels when the car starts to move off.
It is most commonly used in turbo-charged drag racing, primarily in the US, Australia, Puerto Rico and Japan, although most WRC cars utilise launch control to ensure that the cars can get off the line much more quickly.
