Question ETS V2 vs ETS V2 QUIET

So I am ready to order a new exhaust for my 2012 MR and I like the ETS systems.

I have seen videos etc online for each but I still can't work out if I want the ETS V2 or V2 Quiet. At this stage I want cat back only.

I want it to act and sound like a performance exhaust with a nice deep note and a great sound on WOT, but I don't want it sounding like a track car or rally slag when pottering around town...

Has anyone had experience with both?

100% Quiet version. You can always upgrade it later on to a EXTREME if you want.

Let us know if you would like a price on one as well. We are running a HUGE sale on these this week!

Another vote for the Quiet. I originally bought something noisier and am quite happy with the Quiet V2.

We are also going to either run the V2 Quiet or the Tomei Expreme Ti Haven't decided if we want to do dual or single!

i have the V2 regular(dual mini mufflers) and love it, but then again i wanted something a little bit louder then stock but not too loud, has a very nice note, great fitment, but now with the testpipe on its a little bit louder then i originally wanted, still love it though. Either way dont think you can go wrong.

I have ETS manifold, down pipe, test pipe, and v2. The sound is extremely high for dd, I will order now a resonated test pipe to reduce the sound.
But keep your choice with ETS I love there products +1

The V2 extreme is just that... extremely loud lol.

The quiet version is the best for a DD IMO

Thanks for the recommendations guys!

I would recommend the quiet exhaust system as well. The V2 quiet is perfect for a daily driver. Nice deep idle, not over powering. When you go WOT, it's louder than the stock exhaust, but not so over powering that you can't have a conversation. But the best part, is lack of drone on the freeway. I've never had a complaint about freeway drone with the v2 quiet. Many other aftermarket exhausts suffer from this and make for a not so enjoyable experience on the street and highway.

Don't get me wrong. The standard V2 and the Extreme have a place as well, but it all depends on what your looking for. The Extreme is great is if you want to the sound of a straight pipe exhaust with an aggressive dual tip look. The normal v2 is right in the middle of the two, but it does have a little bit of drone and I don't recommend it to the MR guys who can't really control which RPM range the car is in at freeway speeds.

We have tested the v2 quiet against the standard v2 and literally no power difference between the two at 700whp. So for performance your safe with either one

Overall we have an exhaust for everyone. Quiet, Mid Range, Extreme and a Single exit! All backed with a lifetime warranty.

If you need a quote send us a PM or email to sales@extremeturbosystems.com and we will get you a price!

Thanks for your support!

Michael

Michael,
What is better to go with resonated test pipe or to change the rear section to a quiet one?

Both?

If you're asking which will make a bigger difference, the rear muffler is your answer.

I may be interested in a V2 standard + test pipe in about a month. Can you send me a quote for that shipped to 34761?
