Need Some Opinions on Upgrades

I am looking to do some minor upgrades to my Evo GSR and keep seeing people with all the different brands but unsure of which one to choose from. My mind is set on the AMS right now for the Intake, UICP/LICP, and a TiAL QR BOV. I am open for opinions from others since i am new to the Evo world. any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Chris.

What numbers do you plan on trying to get? AMS has some quality stuff so I would stick with them. They will be a little more exsepnsive then Injen however.

I'd go with a stock maf intake like a Cobb SF, aFe/Takeda, or Injen and combine that with a COBB access port. You "can" run some of these intakes without a tune but it is neither recommended nor desirable if you want mid to long term engine reliability. With a big MAF intake which I believe AMS is you HAVE to tune the car or bad things happen.

UICP is pretty much whatever you like but being a pipe its kinda hard to screw up (though it is possible) cheaper the better for me on this one like depo or something like that. just make sure whatever you buy fits right (and snug so upgrade the clamps).

Exhaust again it's a pipe so I'd go with a cheaper option catback I prefer single so ARK, Invidia, Ultimate Racing.

That's how I'm planning on tackling it you may want the more capable higher end parts but that kinda shoots the whole light or minor modding thing out the water when you get to that point.

Go with an intake that retains the stock MAF housing and skip the BOV for a stock turbo setup. Get whatever pipes you like best, but my personal bias is towards aluminum single-piece pipes with mounting brackets.

My personal setup:
AFE Stage 2 DryflowS intake w/Cobb silicone turbo inlet hose (retains stock MAF housing)
Nisei 1-pc. UICP (aluminum)
Depo 2-pc. (aluminum & silicone) 3" LICP
Cobb XLE BPV (because I upgraded my turbo)
