Vibrant 02 anti fouler / spacer

a couple of days ago i installed an AMS hfc. at the same time i installed a vibrant 02 spacer / anti fouler. i used the smallest of the 3 "restrictors" that came in the package.

this morning i got a check engine light.

i am making this thread in hope to hear what "worked" for you guys.

what size "restrictor" did you guys use or did you use any at all.

again this is for a hfc pls and no tuning.

it's hit or miss on every car. Did you check the code and see what it was for? Could be you need to put the middle size one in. I have a buschur 3 inch with a test pipe and the middle insert is the one i used and it works great.

Disable the code in your ECU.

If the fouler doesnt work with the smallest jet, this is your only option.

I just installed mine last weekend. I ran into trouble because the C clip included was too small. I ended up having to bend it out to make it fit, which was annoying.

Ive the the medium jet installed now and havent had a CEL yet. Of course, I typically throw them when cruising long distances at highway speed, so its not too surprising I havent seen one yet.

Kracka if I disable it wouldn't I have to enable it when I have to bring it to emissions? Then what? How would I pass?

I am thinking of not putting one at all, will report back.

Just picked up the Vibrant o2 spacer, throwing that on this weekend to see how it works.

I previously had it disabled in my ECU, but was not able to pass inspection with it off.

That being said, I lately have not been throwing this code; I would sometimes everyday or every other day over the summer.

I have the AMS test pipe with the Vibrant O2 anti fouler and I used the smallest restrictor. So far i've been running it for about two weeks with no check engine light.
