should i sleeve my block?

i am looking to get turbo kit from map a 6266 turbo and i am just planning to throw in some manley piston and rods etc for a complete long block, my concern is would i be fine without sleeving my block on e85 fuel at around 35psi of boost?? and i am not planning on daily driving the car after the built just some few track days at the drag strips..

i know i sound noob but i would really like to hear your thoughts thank u..

e85, 35psi on a 6266. Your looking at 650-700awhp. A non-sleeved rule of thumb, is stay below 550awhp. So, yes that's a hot combination, I would fo sho sleeve.

Sounds like a fun build.

sleeve it!!! and by the time you are there....overbore it....and crankshaft to make it 2,4 liter!!! theres awesome package like 2k for manley crankshaft, pistons rods with the bore size you want to you would have your 6266 spooling 1000rpm faster !!!!! MAKE IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!!!! im speaking by experience

AMS performance seemed to have been doing very nice with the new sleeve design. Although I think they work with Darton sleeves.
If I was you I'd search around to see what the already high powered evo's have done and contact Darton as well and see what they can offer.

Everyone will always say to sleeve.... Depends on your budget of course.. If you can throw ridiculous money at it, then get the most for your money and get it sleeved

I say do it right the first time and sleeve it. Stock sleeves can probably handle it but sleeve it for peace of mind.

Do not build your motor and go for crazy numbers on stock sleeves, that is just reckless. Some people have had decent luck but there is one cylinder that likes to warp from lack of support.

People have seen warping and buschur has seen it too as he says on his site as well around 550whp (dynojet numbers). Do what you want, but its stupid to spend this coin and not spend another 1800 or so to sleeve it while its out.

An EF4 shooting for 600whp on stock sleeves can be done but I still wouldn't do it. If "your" budget doesn't allow an extra 1800 for sleeves, how does it feel about a new motor after the first one bites the dust? Just saying

Also, AMS uses ERL not Darton.

Sleeves are definitely a must for high HP goals. The fortification of your lower end, possibility to up your HP goals for the future and the peace of mind knowing that your motor is done right are reasons alone that you wont kick yourself for in the long run. If you have any other questions PM me.
