Clutch installed but where does this part go back to?

Friend of mine is putting his Evo 10 back together after installing a new clutch himself, and can't quite remember where this heat sheild type part goes. We tried looking at mine to figure out where it comes from, but couldn't figure it out.

I think that might be the heat shield that goes around/near the steering rack. Could be wrong.

That looks like your downpipe shield just under the manifold/turbo. It's the inside part of the neck of the downpipe.
