Mobil 1 0w40?

Is anyone running Mobil 1 0w40? Im looking for something with higher zinc and phosphorus to run with my fp red bb on stock block.

I would suggest Redline 5w40 or 0w40 depending on climate. Some would argue Yay or Nay on Royal purple but they make HPS and XPS formulas that have hi concentrations of Zinc / Phosphorus.

I would either redline weight. Whatever you could get your hands on...

I run the 5w40 Redline oil. Where I live in Cali it might dip to mid 30's twice a year...

I just put this oil into my Evo X. No difference honestly than factory fill, until I test it.

I just ordered Amsoil HDD 5w30, from what I read on here its a very good oil.

Did you contact FP? On their website there is info on the oils they aprove of for use in the Red, and Black JB turbos.

Mobil 1 Racing 4T 10W-40. Super high Zinc content. I have been running it for a year. Awesome stuff.

Mines a bb, I contacted them and they said any oil is fine for the turbo. But they recommend high zinc oil for engines making high hp.
