piping question
piping question
Ive got AMS short ram intake and stock intercooler and lower piping. I am about to put on AMS upper and a Synaps BOV... im just curious what the piping is that the BOV is actaually connected to is called. Is it part of the lower piping? Or is it something completly different and if so are there replacements or are they always going to be the rubber hose?
Bov is on the upper ic pipe. The house you speak of is the vacuum hose for the manifold. Unless you talking about the big one which is recirculating valve and yes you can delete that with speed density or aftermarket ecu
think you got that mixed up. The bov is on the lower ic pipe. To the OP, the bov has 3 hoses, one goes to the intake, the other goes to the lower ic pipe and the small one is the boost line. None of the hoses should be rubbing.
The UICP has no connections on it. It goes from the turbo to the top of the intercooler. The BOV is attached to the lower pipe but it is super long and comes up to the top of the engine along side the upper pipe
