Question Sasquatch spinning my wheels on an Evo X

hi there

I have a "new" Evolution X 2008, ie. new from the dealer and never driven since it was manufactored or sold etc. Yep I know, strange but the car was there, driven 27 miles and never registered when I bought it recently.

What I wanted to know is can I safely burn some rubber on the this car and not damage something.

I had a Mazdaspeed 6 before and I totally wrecked the AWD by spinning the wheels and taking the car to the drag races. I had to spend a lot of money on repairs so before I do anything on the Evo I'd appreciate if you could share your experience.

Thank you,
Simon

You won't be able to spin wheels on a stock Evo with a stock clutch. Chirp at best. You'll burn the clutch up eventually.

+1 on that if you want to be able burn rubber on a X you might want to look into building you trans and putting a strong clutch and your gonna need a lot more torque
i would suggest on try to burn rubber unless you wanna break thing or your doing and awd cyclone lol
