Buschur vs MAP Exh manifold porting
MAP's price $225
Buschur's price = $107
WTF?
How can the quality be this different? You guys with experience wanna chime in on this?

The answer is quite simple actually, it's all about time. We do all of our porting and polishing in house (from exhaust manifolds to cylinder heads and everything in between) with special tooling that allows us to port everything within line of sight which in this case is almost every internal surface of the Evo X exhaust manifold. The upside is that we squeeze every last horsepower out of the stock manifold, but the downside is time as we literally spend more than 8 hours on each exhaust manifold.
Now, please understand that everyone has an opinion in regards to the additional gains that can be realized from this additional work. We feel that their are significant gains to be had for a relatively small investment, as such we have only been offering this service. Please let me know if there are any further questions
Edit: I forgot to mention we are a Buschur Racing distributor as well, so we can help you with whatever route you decide to go

I am squeezing 570whp outta a MAP ported exhaust mani (coated too from them)...so whether or not I gained any from there's over anothers, who knows...I can tell you I am pushing a lot of air though it and it works great and spools fantastic.
Buschur Ported Exhaust Manifold is all we use.. Along with the intake manifold.. I think the results speak better than pictures.. Not sure if your looking to go faster than this..

I would fully agree, that is a great philosophy.
However, the funny thing is none of those even apply to what this thread is about...this is the Evo X section, different platform completely, good call though
Regardless, I think both companies offer great services...but the real question here is, would those people go faster with a different ported manifold, maybe/maybe not, nobody will ever know though

There was a whole bunch of drama because david pushur proudly stated that the extra porting that MAP does will not yield any significant gains over their ported exhaust manifold. Boy did he get proved wrong.
