The Evo X manifolds appear to be more prone to cracking in general in comparison to the Evo 8 & 9 as we have seen several cores come in with a large crack in the divider area. The cracking, however, has nothing to do with the porting process so I believe there may have been some miscommunication. I was not aware that we were going to attempt to weld the manifolds, but if we did we would flat sand the flanges to ensure they are not warped. I will clarify that with my team and report back.
