Ebay Parts!

So I've been looking around on eBay (mainly cause i'm bored) and found a couple things on there. I found an uicp for $100, and a CX Racing intercooler for about $340. Anybody ever try out any ebay stuff? I don't have big plans for my car. just a little extra power, and i know about some ebay stuff being crap, but I bought headers and a full catback exhaust on my old car and it was great quality

You get what you pay for. Are you willing to trust your 35-40k car to a no name ebay part seller? For the extra proven durability, and to have a company stand behind their product that is worth it to me. I would order Sakura performance line parts for the Egofrom Kaizen Tuning. The parts are top shelf with stainless steel and quality welds, all are unproven for max reliability and max performance, and still offer savings over other name parts.

I will say that I have a powdercoated matte black upper intercooler pipe and it works just fine, in the end its just piping, which is why I chose that pipe.

i'm pretty sure thats the one i saw too. I figured that wouldn't be to bad to go with. the intercooler is what i was a little more hesitant about. Ill probably end up going with Cobb for most of my stuff in the future

I would run a solid brand for an intercooler. but I've never had issues with piping. Quality is pretty darn good too.

If you're looking for a cheap FMIC I'd go with an ATP. Other than that, I'd say no. I run an ATP and many others with the X. It's been proven on setups well over 500whp. Seems to be still working on my FP Black setup anyways.

I'm not going for insane numbers or anything so I might try that. can you send me a link for the ATP Intercooler?
