Best route to go as far as test pipes...1 whole or 2 separate?

I plan on getting English Racing tuned in August, looking for test pipesssss.

Should I go one whole pipe replacing the DP and cat, or should I just get a test pipe to replace the cat?

Will I be able to drive the car with a DP+test pipe replacement without a tune until I get one?

I currently have intake + UICP and plan to do EBC and test pipe or DP/test pipe + tune. Which would be the better situation, I'm not trying to do anything CRAZY, I'll stop at those mods after the tune, just want some decent power on a conservative tune....so what are most of you running? just a test pipe, or a DP + test pipe?

Thanks for the input!

try using the search feature. this has been brought up over and over again. that being said I run a test pipe and stock Downpipe. ive read that you don't really see much from an aftermarket dp until you upgrade the turbo. definitely plan on getting a tune after installing either or both though. Good luck and enjoy the growl.

If you're getting tuned by English Racing, I'm sure they can answer all your tuning questions.
