Evo X Acceleration Issue ?!!

Soo
i was driving Evo X SST The other day, it was on normal Automatic mode
i was on the high way and i pushed 50% Throttle, the car started to rev until it hit about 5,000 RPM and the turbo started like a weird Surge/Flutter.
so i released the throttle and decided to stop and change it to sport mode Manual,
i go to about 60-70mph on 4th gear and i pushed WOT (Wide open throttle), the Rpm started to raise and the turbo started to spool, But the problem now is it doesnt give that constant feel of spool up and acceleration, its more like the rpm raising and stopping momentarily.
so my question is why is the car reacting to WOT like this ?
BTW
it has Bolt-ons , FP Green , dyno-tuned by professionals

I shouldn't put words in the mouths of others, but I have a gut feeling that when cdmassee asked whether you had a AFR gauge, he or she was asking what the ratio was when the problem occurs.

This part sounds like maybe the SST is slipping... Maybe. This is from pure speculation.

This is entirely correct.
Thank you Iowa.

That was going to be my next question.

then my next suggestion: if the AFR was reading above 13-14 when in boost, check the fuel pump relay.

(I lost a motor because I didnt have a AFR gauge and my relay went out)
and from what youre describing the car is doing similar to what mine was.

*Im not trying to frighten you at all. It may be something very simple and harmless.
but better safe than sorry.

AFR is about 10.8-11.1 When in boost
This is a weird problem that happened to me 2 times only, and they both happened after that kind of weird surge at 5,000 rpm
im worried that this may damage something really expensive in the car
