Metal on metal grinding sound in gear?
My car has recently been making a grinding metal on metal type sound when in gear, most noticeable in 3rd and up. If I give it gas I don't hear it anymore, and if I depress the clutch I don't hear it. If I coast in gear it grinds like a ****. I'm thinking it may be the TOB. How labor intensive is changing the TOB, and if I planned on doing a new clutch, should I just do that?
