Preferred oil?

Currently using mobil 1 synth, but was looking for something a little better than that. Give me your guys op on which oil is best for daily driving plus track/racing events on the weekends

There is no best oil. The oil you are currently using is 100% fine and will not give you any issues EVER. If and when you ever build the engine in the car consult with the engine builder on which oil to use in the "BUILT" engine

No worries though you'll get the infamous SHAMSOIL plug in 3....2.....1......

My last oil was "standard" Mobil 1 5w30 and had just over 3100 miles on it and two track events. I sent a sample to Blackstone for analysis and the report said findings were typical for vehicle mileage (5300 miles) though the viscosity was a little low. I switched to Mobil 1 Extended Protection 5w30 right after that at the end of the season.

After my first two events in the Spring, I'll send them a new sample. I'll still probably change every 3000 miles unless one of their reports recommend sooner.
