AMSOIL Signature Series 5W-30 is all my Ralliart has ever had in it besides the original break in period.

I do oil analysis every 10k miles with Blackstone labs. Engine is as clean as it was brand new and I'm on 32k miles now.

Went in the dealership for the first free oil change. They used a Mitsu filter and Mopar 5w30 Synthetic which I looked up and it's concluded it is re labeled Mobil 1 sold to Chrysler/Mopar/Mitsu dealers.

I'll stick to M1 oil and filters but have no worries using Castrol Edge, Pennzoil Ultra or other quality synthetic in my Evo X.

I used mobile 1 5w-30, 0w-30, and 5w-30 EP for the first 100k miles on my X. For my most recent oil change I switched to Rotella T6 5w-40 just to try it out. Blackstone analysis on my last OCI (~4800 miles on mobile 1 5w-30) showed everything was good. I do ~5k OCI on the X and always have. I've been using Bosch Distance Plus filters recently... but I've also used Mobile 1 and Stock Mitsu.

Rotella T6 with Mobil1 and Bosch Filters. Looking into trying different filters soon. Possibly Wix?

Royal Purple on every turbo car I've had. Works great for the turbo too. Pulled my turbo off at 47K after DD at 26PSI no thrust wear at all.

A motor oil that has more zinc/phosphorous was recommended to me. It'll clog the stock cat. I'm running a test pipe and trying out Amsoil Dominator 10W-30. Other brands were also recommended to me such as Valvoline VR1/NSL, Royal Purp XPR, BP Grade 1.

The Official Oil Filter Test

Pretty cool test that shows Amsoil filters being really good. I've used them myself on all my cars with great success.

I like Royal Purple a lot, and have used it extensively in a number of vehicles without a problem. That said I'm a little upset that they no longer have the "Synerlec" additive package in the plain ol' RP oil, instead requiring that you step up to the (much pricier) HPS or XPR to get it. While I'm sure that even without Synerlec RP is good stuff, but still...
